I was waiting for a really rainy day to show this drawing but Summer is finally coming with its bright sun and blue sky !

Goodbye Sweetheart

On Saturday morning, there was a drawing in ANTImag #4 that I thought I could reproduce in my own way.

So here is my original sketch :



Then, the painted version in Photoshop :



On Sunday morning, I needed to do something more real.
So I headed to my brushes and started another version.

That one is the first watercolor :



And finally the second watercolor :



Don't be afraid, the Girl with Red Hair is not that sad, even if she misses her Blue Bear a lot, now that he have moved to a far away land...

Il ne faut pas s'inquiéter pour la Fille aux Cheveux Rouges, elle n'est pas aussi triste que cela, même si son Ours Bleu lui manque beaucoup depuis qu'il a déménagé dans un pays lointain...

It's the story of a girl
who feels empty...
... and useless.

So she do things (books, brushes)
still find herself empty...
... so fall in love at first sight.

Of course, it doesn't work. (broken heart)
To throw away the pain (river of tears)
she got an idea : (fiat lux)

She will express that ! (poems, paintings)
And so, she get better
until the next guy...

I was not supposed to show this to the WWW, but hey, it's all about having fun with a pen (and pain) ;)
