Lots of bears, penguins, and melting ice for this week's theme, "polar".
Many thanks to the Thesaurus for giving me another angle for this creation.

Here is the encounter between two opposite characters, two style, two stories, two ages.
Anastasia and The Red Haired Girl will "grow" on their own paths. But they will stay side by side, just like sisters. Or the two faces of the same person.
This is something I wanted to achieve for a long time, and couldn't find a good way with photography...

Pour le thème polaire de cette semaine, on verra beaucoup d'ours, de pingouins et de glace qui fond.
Une lecture du Thésaurus (en anglais) m'a permis de trouver un autre angle.

Voici la rencontre de deux personnages très différents, opposés en personnalité, en style, en vécu.
Anastasia et La Fille aux Cheveux Rouges vont "grandir" chacune de leur coté, mais resteront proches, comme deux soeurs. Ou les deux faces d'une même personne.
J'ai longtemps cherché comment exprimer cette dualité, et je n'y arrivais pas vraiment en photographie...

I found my material in USA Today. There were pages full of datas about money or investments, and, between Sports and Lifestyle sections, that poor woman crying for medical help in Darfour...
Ashamed I am.

J'ai trouvé mon contenu dans un numéro de USA Today. Il y avait des pages recouvertes de chiffres à propos d'argent et d'investissement.
Et puis, entre les sports et les loisirs, la photo de cette femme, pleurant pour une aide médicale, dans un camp du Darfour...
Comme j'ai honte !

Characters design are inspired by ma4u4a.
Drawings and scenery are my own interpretation.

The result is far from my first idea. It's dark and I like it like that :)
Because I can't always do childish sketches, otherwise it wouldn't express all my faces...

Hotter is not always better...
I feel concerned about climate change. Because it hurts some precious creatures and destroy our environment.
So, for the sake of my dear blue polar bear, can you please turn off your computer when you don't use it ?
