Gouache on Canson paper. No brushes, only fingers.

Funny how it turned out, because it was just a test, not even a draft, just an attempt to feel the painting with my own flesh.
Funny that it has no aim when I begun it, and then became something I'm proud of, exactly the same way I did "Through the land".

You should see it in real, and touch the texture of the paint !

Memories or Nightmares

Actually, a nightmare made out of memories.

Drawing, then scanning, then reprinting, then inking.
Even if there are lots of mistakes, I'm quite proud of the various points of view of the same scene in a such a small location (inside a car) with several characters and many emotions involved.

Cinema Português de Animação

Hier soir, le cinéma George Méliès de Montreuil acueillait une soirée "jeudi de l'anim'" du Forum des Images Hors les Murs.

Carte blanche était donnée à Régina Pessoa et son mentor Abi Feijó pour nous montrer une collection de courts métrages d'animation les ayant inspirés.

Ce fut l'occasion de découvrir différent technique, bien plus impressionnantes que la plus belle des 3D actuelle, tel que l'écran d'épingle, le sable ou la peinture sur verre, les papercuts.

C'est toujours un grand plaisir d'écouter des passionnés...
Et pour prolonger, Régina dédicace ce soir son livre-dvd au Chalet Pointu, 10 rue Goncourt à Paris !

This is my first gouache painting, and I'm very proud of it !

It's highly inspired by the wonderful art of Anne-Julie, especially her "Girl at poppies".
