There is a poem within every kiss

For this week's IF theme : "poem".

Lots of bears, penguins, and melting ice for this week's theme, "polar".
Many thanks to the Thesaurus for giving me another angle for this creation.

Here is the encounter between two opposite characters, two style, two stories, two ages.
Anastasia and The Red Haired Girl will "grow" on their own paths. But they will stay side by side, just like sisters. Or the two faces of the same person.
This is something I wanted to achieve for a long time, and couldn't find a good way with photography...

---------------------------------------------

Illustration Friday : Fortune

I found my material in USA Today. There were pages full of datas about money or investments, and, between Sports and Lifestyle sections, that poor woman crying for medical help in Darfour...
Ashamed I am.

Illustration Friday : I spy

Before it's too late, here is my submission to this week's IF :

Everyone watching anyone watching anything.
But who really cares about him ? Who really acts ? Who really wants to ?

Illustration Friday : Sprout

Together waiting for the spring.
Come ! Come !

Illustration Friday : Super Hero

Today a brave man passed away.
He was probably the most charitable person in our country.
He was an ordinary hero.

(This quick drawing is my first attempt with my new Wacom tablet Intuos A6 wide).

Illustration Friday : Eighties

Born in 1978, the 80s are my childhood.
No great memories from these years and especially a very bad taste in the field of fashion.
Yes, I used to wear stuff like that, with awful shiny colors !
This drawing was made for Illustration Friday theme.

Illustration Friday : Buzz

Here is my submission to Illustration Friday "Buzz".
Many artists are drawing bees or insects, but in French (for me), buzz first refers to gossip about people, a person, a product, an event.
Not difficult to find material around me...

Contrast and colors have been exaggerated on the pictures because newspapers (and their readers!) tend to over-expose the little things of VIP's life and under-estimate their work.

---
