The story of a girl, and her mother, and her father, and her brother... a desperate household :p

Singing in the rain

I was waiting for a really rainy day to show this drawing but Summer is finally coming with its bright sun and blue sky !

--------------

J'attendais un jour très pluvieux pour montrer ce dessin mais l'été est arrivé avec son joli soleil et son beau ciel !

Fiat Lux !

How to be a goddess... :)

Goodbye Sweetheart

On Saturday morning, there was a drawing in ANTImag #4 that I thought I could reproduce in my own way.

So here is my original sketch :

Then, the painted version in Photoshop :

On Sunday morning, I needed to do something more real.
So I headed to my brushes and started another version.

That one is the first watercolor :

And finally the second watercolor :

Don't be afraid, the Girl with Red Hair is not that sad, even if she misses her Blue Bear a lot, now that he have moved to a far away land...

----------

It's the story of a girl
who feels empty...
... and useless.

So she do things (books, brushes)
still find herself empty...
... so fall in love at first sight.

Of course, it doesn't work. (broken heart)
To throw away the pain (river of tears)
she got an idea : (fiat lux)

She will express that ! (poems, paintings)
And so, she get better
until the next guy...

I was not supposed to show this to the WWW, but hey, it's all about having fun with a pen (and pain) ;)

Much ado about nothing

Just a quick sketch to show you how it's like at work today...

Survival Kit

What else can I do if the computer does my job ?

Also : submitted to Illustration Friday theme "camouflage".

Surprise

If only we could...

Arbre de Vie

Strengthening the roots, spreading the branches.

China Ink on paper.

Cartes craquantes

Yesterday I received the postcards I bought at joebiscotte.com.
Of course, the artists are full of talent, but what pleased me the most are the tiny little surprises I found in the envelopes ;)
These cards will go directly on the walls of my new apartment !
